Overview
This Mindfulness and Joy Day Retreat offers opportunities to reset your mind, cultivate joy, and empower the best you.
Spending a day to rejuvenate, relax, and reconnect with the present moment and the joy of being is always an investment that will keep on giving.
Mindfulness and Joy, Grounding in The Body:
As the day progresses, the burdens of the ever-thinking mind ease up, and you will experience a level of peace. You will practice connecting with sensations in your body and learn how to become present at any time and during any circumstance.
We will participate in joyful practices to release the suffering of the world and feel joy and mindfulness. We can become free.
Self-Care
The Mindfulness and Joy Retreat offers gentle practices that help you relax, rejuvenate, and cultivate your attention toward happiness. We practice quietly throughout the day and during lunch to provide space for participants to go inward and enjoy not having an obligation to respond. It is often loved by participants who have never even imagined themselves being quiet and at ease amongst others.
Format:
We do a series of sitting and walking meditations, mindful eating, relaxing and reflecting, walks in nature, and a beautiful pond to sit by and listen to the sounds of the waterfall.
Food:
We offer simple foods like a pot of vegetarian soup, bread, cheese, tea, coffee, and water. You are welcome to bring food or snacks for yourself and or to share with other retreatants. People have traditionally done so, and it’s a lovely community-sharing experience.

There will be time for questions after each wisdom talk or guidance.
Fees:
We offer scholarships to help those with financial difficulties.
